The summer heat is scorching.

Anyways. I just ordered, “The Walmart Effect” from Amazon. I’m actually quite excited to read this book, its one of the books for my college core class. CLTE 80A. It stands for cultural, something-something. Basically, my English class. The reviews and description sounds so intriguing, can’t wait to read it! :) /dork —- I’m just glad my English class seems legit a’f.

Yesterday I just found out my older brother might have prostrate cancer, he’s only 31. I teared up, even though he’s a lot older than me, barely around, he’s still my older brother. And quite frankly, I love him despite his ass hole snarky remarks. He’s a douche bag, a ladies man, the guy most guys hate. I felt as if it was karma for being a womanizer, but you never know. It’s pre-cancerous supposedly, it’s not confirmed yet either so there’s something to pray for. What made me really upset was that he doesn’t have health insurance, then I thought back to the Health Care Act (“Obama Care”); if it is cancer he can still be covered, this would be considered a pre-existing condition, I believe — since he would be sick before purchasing the health care. If the ACA wasn’t ratified, my older brother, my only older brother, would’ve been denied coverage. Thankfully, my eldest sister has a really good plan which she’s going to add him onto eventually. He’s a bit immature, always making jokes, and so protective of me. He always gives me “guy advice” lol. I guess he thinks I’m really pretty so he doesn’t want me to get hurt like the way he has hurt girls.

This what he texted my dad if/when he dies, and it truly reflects his personality. My dad didn’t reply aha.

“When I die, I want to be placed in my casket wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers uniform… Without the helmet on.”

Damn.. Now I’m about to cry fuuu. I was unfortunate to not have any cousins or aunts, grandparents, etc. All I have is my siblings and parents (and now a niece and nephews), so they mean a lot to me.
